What to do if you have two Circle Medical accounts

How to recognize a duplicate Circle Medical account and how the support team can help combine your care into one account.

You should have one Circle Medical account. Two accounts can cause problems with ID verification, appointments, prescriptions, messages, and medical records. If you think you have more than one account, do not keep booking or uploading documents on both. Contact the support team so they can help.

Signs you may have two accounts

  • You can log in with one email, but your appointment or ID is tied to a different email

  • You booked through Zocdoc with one email and later created an account with another

  • You used Sign in with Apple and Hide My Email on Zocdoc, then signed up again with your regular email

  • Support or ID verification says your information may already be on another account

What to do

  1. Note every email address you may have used with Circle Medical or Zocdoc.

  2. Try logging in with each email, or use Forgot your password? if you are not sure which one works. See the pilot article How to log in or reset your password once it is published.

  3. Start a chat from the account you can access. If you cannot log in to either account, contact us at (888) 803-3370.

  4. Tell the support team you think you have multiple accounts.

What to include when you call

We will need to confirm your identity before any account merge, including:

  • Both email addresses, if you know them

  • Your legal name and date of birth

  • Any upcoming or past appointment dates you remember

  • Whether you booked through Zocdoc

What happens next

The support team will review both accounts with you. If they confirm it is a duplicate, they can merge your charts into one account. Merging is permanent.

  • Which account stays active: the one with the most history or most recent appointment.

  • What carries over: everything in your medical record - appointments, prescriptions, messages, invoices, ID verification status, medical records

  • What you will use to log in after the merge: your preferred email.

  • How long a merge usually takes: The account merge is usually instant - i.e. you can log in to to your merged account immediately. The transfer of your medical record from the other account can take up to 24 hours.

Until support confirms the merge is done, use only the account they tell you to use. We can typically confirm the merge while on the phone, or will send you a chat to confirm when it is complete.

If you have an appointment scheduled, it can typically still log in right away on the merged account, even if your medical record transfer is still in progress.

What not to do

  • Do not create another new account to "start over"

  • Do not delete an account until support tells you to, or confirms a merge is complete

  • Do not book a new appointment until your account merge is complete
