Keep your Circle Medical account details up to date, especially your legal name and date of birth. Those need to match your government ID and, when you use insurance, the name on your insurance card. If they do not match, ID verification can fail and we may not be able to verify your insurance.
If your legal name changes, for example after a marriage, make sure your account reflects your updated legal name. Mismatches can cause problems with insurance or prescription processing. You may also need to tell your insurance about a legal name change.
Use your legal name on your account, the same name that appears on your driver's license, state ID, passport, or other accepted government ID, and on your insurance card when you have one. Do not use a nickname or preferred name in the legal name field.
Keep your home address current too. Your address is used to show providers who are licensed in your state when you book. To remain compliant with federal and state laws, you must be located in a state where your provider is licensed to practice. An up-to-date address also helps you avoid delays when confirming your location for video appointments.
