We're here to support you every step of the way on your path to better physical and mental health. If you’re looking to be evaluated for possible ADHD symptoms, we’re glad you’ve chosen to partner with Circle Medical. Here’s everything you need to know about preparing for your first appointment.
🗂️ Do you have prior records to send us?
You can upload them directly through the Circle Medical app: go to the Health Records tab, tap “Prior Medical Records,” then select the “Add / Request Record” button.
Once submitted, records are typically processed and added to your chart within 3–5 business days for provider review.
Important note: While you may have been previously diagnosed with ADHD from an external clinic, you must successfully complete our 3-visit diagnostic process before any controlled substance medications can be prescribed.
What to expect at your first appointment
What to expect at your first appointment
During your first visit, your provider will evaluate your medical history, discuss your concerns and goals, and review your medical records if available. While not required, we recommend bringing the following items to your appointment:
Previous medical records, including prior ADHD or mental health diagnoses
A current list of medications you’re taking
Any known allergies
Contact details for your previous medical providers
Appointment costs will vary based on whether you’re using insurance or paying out of pocket. Coverage eligibility depends on your specific insurance plan, so we recommend contacting your insurer directly before booking to confirm coverage.
Self-pay cost: $179
Estimated average balance with insurance: $40†
*Over the last 12 months, 75% of patients with accepted insurance have paid $40 or less per appointment. Costs are estimates and may change according to your deductible. For a definite price, call your insurance company.
Timeframe for evaluation
At Circle Medical, a thorough, evidence-based ADHD assessment takes 3 dedicated appointments. During these visits, your provider will work closely with you to review your symptoms, concerns, and detailed health history. Sometimes, symptoms that seem like ADHD may actually have other causes and require different treatment.
Transferring ADHD care to Circle Medical
To maintain the highest standard of safety and clinical accuracy, all new patients—including those previously diagnosed with ADHD at an external facility—must successfully complete our 3-visit diagnostic process before any controlled substance medications can be prescribed.
You are welcome to share any previous medical records with your Circle Medical provider in order for them to have a full understanding of your current health status.
Follow the steps outlined here to learn how to send or upload previous medical records to Circle Medical profile.
