Circle Medical is a telehealth primary care practice here to help support your healthcare journey. Circle Medical offers primarily virtual care. This article shares a list of our video appointment options, and offers guidance on how to choose a provider.

Video appointment options

Here is a list of video appointment options:

  • Standard appointment: This virtual appointment is used for general virtual primary care needs, and follow-up visits for established ADHD and Sleep patients.

  • Wellness exam: This virtual wellness exam is for establishing care with us and creating a customized health plan centred around holistic health and prevention.

  • Urgent care appointment: Virtual urgent care for a wide range of acute conditions and common infections like colds, flu, sinus, or skin infections, minor injuries- not for emergency or life-threatening concerns.

  • PrEP intake appointment: For patients seeking to understand more about pre-exposure prophylaxis treatment, begin PrEP treatment, or transfer their care over to Circle Medical.

  • Sleep video appointment: This appointment is a consultation and first appointment for patients seeking treatment for sleep apnea, insomnia, and other sleep issues like difficulty falling and/or staying asleep.

  • Skin care video appointment: For patients seeking diagnosis and treatment for skin care conditions.

  • GAHT intake appointment: A consultation and first appointment for patients seeking gender-affirming care. Specifically, patients who would like to explore, start, continue, or maintain gender-affirming hormone therapy with Circle Medical.

    • If you are a new patient, book a Video GAHT Intake Appointment.

    • For ongoing care, schedule a Standard appointment and list "GAHT follow-up" as the reason for the visit.

  • Anxiety and depression assessment: For discussing depression or anxiety symptoms or transferring care.

  • ADHD intake appointment: For patients who have never had an ADHD assessment or patients with a prior ADHD diagnosis.

  • Weight management appointment: A consultation for patients seeking diagnosis and treatment for weight management.

In-person appointment options

Currently, Circle Medical primarily offers virtual appointments. Our satellite clinics may have openings for in-person ADHD follow-up appointments only.

Depending on provider availability, our San Francisco clinic offers some in-person appointments listed here:

  • In-person ADHD follow-up: For established ADHD patients to book their monthly follow-up appointments. This appointment may be available at one of our satellite locations.

  • In-person annual wellness exam: An in-person wellness exam for establishing care and ensuring your health needs are taken care of holistically.

  • In-person standard appointment: This in-person appointment is used for all general virtual primary care needs.

Choosing a provider

Our providers are here to help you with all your health needs. To choose a provider, simply follow these steps:

  1. On the Circle Medical mobile app or web portal, select an appointment type to get started.

  2. Scroll through available providers and available days to find a provider that suits your needs.

    • If you have insurance, ensure it's been uploaded to see in-network providers.

    • Always confirm that the provider’s credentials (MD, NP, PA) are suitable for your care and comply with your state's requirements.

  3. Once you've booked an appointment, you'll receive a confirmation email along with the details of your upcoming video appointment!

Tip: Start a chat with the Care Team on the mobile app or web portal if you'd like to change your Primary Care Provider (PCP).
