Payment Process Overview

Paying out of pocket

If you're paying for your appointments out of pocket, you can easily pay through our platform. Make sure you have a valid payment card uploaded to your Circle Medical account prior to scheduling an appointment. You can check your payment method by accessing your account page in the app or website. The selected payment method on your account will be charged automatically within 48 hours of an invoice being generated.

Using insurance

If you have insurance on your profile, the payment process is a bit different. Once the insurance claim process is finalized (which typically takes 4-6 weeks), you'll receive an email notification stating that you have a balance due. Our system will automatically charge your card on file within 48 hours of the invoice being generated.

If you prefer to pay immediately instead of waiting, or there's a payment issue, you can pay for your appointment by going to the "Appointments" tab and selecting the appointment in question. From there, you can view the invoice and press "Pay Now" to have the system charge your card on file.

See our accepted insurances page here for more information.

Payment Methods

We accept most major credit and debit cards. Apple Pay is also accepted. We will never charge you ahead of your appointment date, but you may see an authorization hold. Payments are only processed for appointments that are attended.

Common Questions

Do you take HSA or CareCredit cards?

We do accept certain HSA cards. CareCredit is not currently supported. You may be able to authorize transactions with Circle Medical by contacting the HSA management company directly. If neither of these options work, you would need to use a different payment method initially and then request reimbursement from CareCredit or your HSA account.

Do you accept Medicaid or Medi-Cal insurance?

Unfortunately, we are not contracted with Medicaid or Medi-Cal insurance, so we can't see patients with these benefits - even if they pay out of pocket. Using our services while receiving Medicaid or Medi-Cal benefits could put your benefits at risk, so please disclose this information before receiving care. Patients who don't disclose this information may be discharged from our practice.
