When creating a Circle Medical account for the first time, you will be asked to add a payment method to your account. We accept most major credit and debit cards, as well as Apple Pay. Patients are required to have a valid payment method on file at all times. However, you are able to change your payment method at any time. In this quick article, we'll review adding and changing payment methods.
Adding a New Card
You can add a new card to your Circle Medical account at any time via your Billing settings. The process is quick and takes effect immediately.
Here’s what it looks like in the app:
First, click on the "Billing" icon located along the bottom navigation bar in the app.
After clicking on the "Billing" icon along the bottom navigation bar, click on the "Payment Method" option. Here, you will be able to enter a new payment method. If you already have a payment method on file, you can update, delete, or change your preferred card.
After selecting "Payment Method", a prompt will appear to allow you to manage your payment methods. Click on the "Add" option to add a new card to your file.
After you select "Add" to input your payment method, you will be prompted to enter your card details. Input your card number, expiry date, and CVC code, as well as the ZIP code associated with the card.
When you have completed these fields, click on the "Save" button.
Switching Payment Methods
You can switch between payment methods, as needed to select your preferred payment method. The selection takes effect for future charges, so be sure to know which card you've selected at all times.
Navigate to the Billing screen by clicking the "Billing" icon along the bottom navigation bar.
Click on the "Payment Method" option on the "Billing" screen.
You will be able to see all payment methods that you have entered to be stored on file. Tap on whichever option you wish to select as your new preferred method of payment.
After selecting a card, confirm that the new payment method has been successfully selected by ensuring it is displayed as a preview under the "Payment Method" option on the "Billing" screen.
