Do I need a primary payment method?
Yes, we require one primary payment method on your account for billing purposes. Having a primary payment method on file also ensures that any balances, like deductibles or copays, are processed quickly, saving you time and reducing administrative hassle.

Can I get a payment plan?
No. At this time, Circle Medical doesn’t currently offer traditional payment plans where balances can be paid in instalments over time.
Can I make a partial payment?
No, we don’t accept partial payments toward an invoice or a total account balance. Every invoice needs to be paid in full in a single transaction. If you have multiple outstanding invoices and are concerned it will affect your treatment plan, please reach out to your Care Team for assistance.
Can I switch from insurance to cash pay after my appointment?
Once an appointment claim has been submitted to your insurance, Circle Medical can’t retroactively adjust the charges from an insurance-approved rate to a self-pay rate due to insurance regulations. If you've settled all outstanding balances, you can schedule new appointments at the standard self-pay rate if desired.
What happens if I have overdue balances?
Circle Medical doesn’t offer financial assistance programs or grace periods for overdue balances. Once an appointment is completed, an invoice is generated, and payment attempts are made up to five times through the preferred payment method on file. If payment isn’t received within 30 days, a hold may be placed on your profile. To lift this hold and book new appointments, you must pay all invoices that are 30 days or more overdue.
Do you accept Medicaid or Medi-Cal insurance?
We aren’t contracted with Medicaid or Medi-Cal insurance, so we can't see patients with these benefits, even if you pay out of pocket. Using our services while receiving Medicaid or Medi-Cal benefits could put your benefits at risk. Because of this, we require all patients to disclose this information prior to receiving care. Failure to do so may result in being discharged from the practice to maintain compliance.
Can I receive my invoice by mail?
No. Circle Medical is a paperless practice. Once generated, you can find your invoices in the ‘Billing’ tab of the mobile app or web portal.
How much does an appointment cost?
Self-pay visit costs are standard, fixed rates. If you’re using insurance, your visit costs will vary depending on your specific plan's benefits and coverage (such as your deductible, copay, or coinsurance). To view our exact current rates and learn more about our pricing, please see our page on appointment costs.
