What to expect:
1. Your provider places a referral order in our system.
When your provider determines that you need a referral for a specialist or other healthcare services, they will place a referral order in our system.
2. Our referrals and imaging coordinators get to work for you.
Our referrals and imaging coordinators receive your referral order and begin processing it. Our coordinators search for a location near you based on the address we have on file. We make sure that the facility we refer you to accepts your insurance and provides high-quality care. We aim to process all referrals within 48 hours, but there may be minor delays during peak times.
3. You receive an update in the app with all the details you need.
Once we've found the right facility for your needs, we'll send you an update in the app with all the details you need. This includes the location of the facility, contact information to schedule an appointment, and any other important information.
4. You go to the referred provider for your appointment.
You'll head to the location we referred you to and attend your appointment or procedure.
5. Your provider will receive an update from the referral.
After your appointment or procedure, the facility will send a progress update to your Circle Medical provider. Your provider will then be available for follow-up if appropriate.
