Getting an update on prescription requests via ticket or chat

This article explains how to get an update on a prescription request that you submitted, such as a reroute, resend, rewrite or refill.

Prescription requests like reroutes, resends, rewrites, and refills typically take up to 2-3 business days to be reviewed by your provider.

Periodically check your Secure Care Inbox (SCI) for an update on your request. If you haven’t received an update after three days and you have a SCI thread you can respond to, please directly send a message to your provider there. If you don’t have a SCI thread you can reply to, please start a chat in the Circle Medical app or web portal.

Following up on your tickets and chats

When submitting a prescription request to your Care Team, the request may be submitted by a Patient Care Advocate (PCA) or Cura, our AI Agent. To check the status of a request, locate the related conversation thread in your chats.

If you can still reply to the conversation: Send a message directly in the chat thread to ask your Care Team for an update.

If you can’t reply to the conversation: Please start a new chat and provide the details of your previous request.

Important note: You will only be able to respond in a chat or ticket thread for two days after it has been marked as resolved.

To avoid delays, please create only one conversation per request.
