Confirming your physical location during check-in

Updated over a year ago

When checking in to your video appointment, you will be asked to confirm that you are physically located in a state where your provider is licensed.

Even though the appointment is virtual, federal and state laws make this a requirement.

If you are not located in a state where your provider is licensed, you will be given the option to cancel your appointment without any penalty or to reschedule your appointment.

If you choose to reschedule but do not complete the rescheduling process, you will be charged a no-show fee.

Please note that most providers are licensed to practice in more than one state.
